Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully.

Thank you for choosing Astro Movers to assist you and your family move.  The following policies have been established to protect you and Astro Movers and to make your move as pleasant as possible. Please feel free to read these Terms & Conditions and the attached fee schedule carefully.

1).  Arrival time: Astro Movers will provide you with an estimated time of arrival when you schedule moving assistance. We will do everything possible to arrive at the estimated time and will notify you if we are running early or late in case of such an event customers will be notified ahead of time.

2).  Packing: Asro Movers will provide packing services if desired by the customer. Unless other arrangements are made, customer will be responsible for all packing. However, for additional fee, Astro Movers will assist with packing, prior to the actual move. Customer’s packing must be done before Astro’s estimated arrival time. Astro Movers will not be responsible for damages to items that were not packed properly by the customer.
Our packing prices are as following:
Packing is billed $35 an hour/ per employee.

3). Moving assistance services are billed hourly, with a two hour minimum. The time begins when our employee arrives at your location and ends  when your goods have been unloaded from our truck. After the first two hours, services are billed in 15 min increments after 2 hour minimum.

4). Moving services include: 24’ truck, blankets and dollies, movers to assist with loading and unloading.

5).  Deposit: A deposit is required when reservation for services is made.  The balance is due when the move is completed.  Payment may be made by cash, money order,  Visa or  Master Card. Checks are not accepted for payment. If you cancel a move within 24 hours, your deposit will not refunded.

Astro Movers does not move flammable or hazardous substances, liquids, jewelry, cash, pets, or photographic equipment. All appliances must be disconnected by customers or qualified service person.
